The Tawakoni Fire Department currently has approximately 14 volunteers and a fleet consisting of 1 engine, 1 tanker, 1 brush truck, and a boat. The fire department’s primary response area covers roughly 3400 in population and also provides mutual aid to Lone Oak, Quinlan, East Tawakoni, Cash, Tawakoni South, and Texas Parks and Wildlife.
